EFFICIENCY & DEPENDABILITY

Submission forms, specimen jars, FedEx overnight shipping labels, and other supplies are provided FREE of charge.

Please complete all information on the VetPath submission form.
Secure your histopathology in a provided formalin jar, to ensure extra safety from leaking use medical tape around the lid of the jar.
Cytology specimens should be shipped within a provided slide holder and again using tape to secure the lid.
Place your specimen/slides in a Biohazard bag with the VetPath form in the side pocket.

Specimens shipped in the Phoenix metropolitan area are picked up from our local courier.
Please call to arrange your complimentary specimen pickup.

Out of state clinics will be supplied with FedEx Billable stamps and FedEx Clinical Paks in addition to the other items. (please pack as many specimen cases as you can into a single FedEx Clinical Pak. Please ONLY use the FedEx Clinical Pak.)
Place your histopathology/cytology specimen in a FedEx Clinical Pak. (If a cytology is submitted in the same FedEx package as formalin jar, please double bag the cytology to prevent being exposed to the formalin.)
Adhere a billable stamp to the outside of your FedEx Pak.
Call FedEx for pickup (Monday-Friday pickups only).
Please save all FedEx tracking numbers for accurate tracking of specimens.

Specimens are processed upon arrival, and results are generally available and emailed or faxed to you within a 24-48 hour period.
